Zero is a challenger bank built around a genuine environmental commitment — a current account designed to reduce the carbon footprint of everyday spending. The site needed to feel as credible as an established financial institution while communicating something meaningfully different.

Financial services sites live or die on trust. Typography, whitespace, and copy tone all carry weight — visitors are deciding whether to hand over their money. The design leans into that expectation rather than fighting it, using restraint and clarity to build confidence, with Zero's environmental identity surfaced through considered detail rather than green-washing aesthetics.

Umbraco CMS gives the marketing team full content control without requiring engineering resource for every campaign update or product change. Structured content models keep the site consistent as it grows, and the build is optimised for the competitive search terms in the digital banking and ethical finance space.
